Descriptif
The objective of this project is to provide a quality and equitable multi-sectorial humanitarian assistance for the most vulnerable households affected by May’s escalation of violence in Gaza Strip. Specifically, the affected households will be targeted with multi-sector activities, including the following areas of intervention : • Provision of multi-purpose cash on monthly basis based on the Minimum Expenditure Basket to get the basic and essential needs (200HHs* Average £240 per HH *6 months) • Rehabilitation to moderately damaged homes because of the conflict (50HHs *Average £4,000 per HH) • Rehabilitation of lightly damaged homes because of the conflict (60HHs *Average £1,600 per HH) The project aims to support the national recovery efforts in the post-conflict situations and it also supports the achievement of HRP 2021 strategic objectives. Notably, the project includes a series of activities designed to address the urgent humanitarian and rehabilitation needs of the target households, thus, strengthening their resilience and coping capacities and enhancing their protection. The project will promote and utilize the community-based approach, with greater involvement of beneficiaries at every stage, while putting specific focus on women and vulnerable groups, and a strong Accountability to Affected Populations (AAP) component. Also, the project will be implemented in partnership with local CBO/s to ensure increased efficiency and further local ownership of the project outcomes.
