Descriptif
Islamic Relief-Palestine (IRPAL) will continue to work for improving the nutritional status of the Hospitalized Patients in Gaza Strip, building upon the best practices and lessons learned from its previous interventions in the project area. This will be achieved through providing nutritious meals in general Hospital in Gaza Strip. The proposed project aims to contribute to improved quality of life of Hospitalized patients during the month of Ramadan in Gaza Strip. The proposed project will target 500 Hospitalized Patients, from different governorates of Gaza Strip. The targeted individuals have their nutrition security been adversely affected by their serious or complex diseases while their poor families lack abilities to take care of their needs comprehensively. The project is expected to continue providing hot meals for 20 days. The project goes in line with humanitarian needs, and it will address critical issue of the health cluster, which made the life-sustaining health interventions one of its priorities for 2021. Also, the project is designed in full coordination and cooperation with MoH to provide a tailored combination modality to avoid duplication and maximize the impact on beneficiaries. The activities of the project will provide direct service delivery to the identified target individuals. The project will significantly contribute to gender equality, including across age groups, as it mainstreams an Integrated Protection & Inclusion Approach. Also, beneficiaries will be heavily involved to ensure accountability, and a comprehensive Complaint Response Mechanism will be deployed.
