Descriptif
The project will aim to protect children and create an adequate, safe and healthy learning environment in addition to enable them initialize the classrooms before the winter as well as ensure physical and psychological wellbeing of children in a safe and cheerful atmosphere which is conducive to learning and developing positive habits and foundations of life skills among children. The project will include repair and rehabilitation of lightly damaged schools of (category 1 : Minor damages). This category of schools is targeted because the needed works and easily implemented and the required materials are available in the local market. The project which will mainly include the following works : 1) Repair of schools damages ? Fixing cracks of ceilings and walls ? Installing aluminum windows and protection steel ? Installing glass panels for windows ? Installing wooden and steel doors ? Painting walls ? Fixing / replacing the damaged sanitary facilities 2) Repair and replacement of damaged furniture ? Furnishing classrooms with suitable and safe furniture, to replace damaged furniture. 3) Provision of key equipment ? Provision of top priority school equipment
