Within the IRPAL programmatic case management approach, beneficiaries will be referred from humanitarian and/or child welfare programs, particularly those who have successfully finished their preparatory school (grade 9) and are keen to get vocational training under the community development program. The beneficiaries will be equipped with high quality vocational training coupled with soft skills training. The training will be conducted in the vocational training centers - Center of Competence (CoC) - that have been developed and upgraded by IRPAL project funded by Swiss Agency for Development (SDC) in terms of infrastructure, human resources development and new training curricula to ensure high quality training programs that meet the employers’ needs. The vocational training centers (CoCs) will deliver quality training courses under the construction, ICT, agriculture, beautification and fashion design sectors. In parallel with the vocational training, two interrelated components will be undertaken by the project : - Life skills coaching : that will enable the trainees with the 21st business and entrepreneurial skills - Internship : for a period up to 4 months as labor market engagement strategy
