Présentation
The WHO classifies Syria as high risk in relation to COVID-19, and the number of cases detected continues to increase in this country where the health and medical infrastructure is in no fit state to respond to the crisis without support from the humanitarian community. In order to limit the spread of the virus in a context where the population is extremely vulnerable, TGH is procuring and distributing essential hygiene products and water of sufficient quality and quantity to meet the essential hygiene needs of each and every person. These distributions are coupled with awareness-raising sessions around the precautionary measures which need to be taken during the pandemic in order to fill the gaps in the population’s understanding of COVID-19.

Partenaire : The distributions are implemented in cooperation with the Syrian Arab Red Crescent.
