Descriptif
The Project intends to respond to flood affected IDPs in Garashi, Magharini Sub-county of Kilifi County. Over 3500 families have been displaced with their livelihoods destroyed or severely affected by the floods through destruction of family assets including livestock, crops and household assets. Furthermore, 4 schools have been submerged by floods and children cut off from accessing education. The available facilities on higher grounds acting as camps are currently over stretched, and there is a lack of food, clean water and WASH infrastructure in camps. The project intends to respond to the immediate need of 700 of the most severely affected families by providing life-saving food packs.
