Descriptif
IRK is proposing to further support orphans in Primary school with school supplies such as school bags, school uniforms and sanitary towels for orphans in Mandera County. The project is aimed to realize improved school attendance as well as performance among the targeted orphans. 800 orphans will receive school bags, 200 school uniforms and 300 girls will receive sanitary towels. The project beneficiary will be selected from the orphans benefiting from IRK orphan sponsorship programme. The Key project activities are as follows ; Community mobilization and awareness raising among the project beneficiaries and the community, Supply and distribution of 800 school bags, supply and distribution of 200 school uniforms, one year sanitary towels for 300 girls and monitoring & evaluation and documentation of the project activities. The project will complement the orphan sponsorship programme to have a bigger impact on the targeted orphan families and improve their wellbeing.
