Présentation
The main objective of this project is to support government-led efforts to address the protection and urgent needs of refugees, returning Ethiopian migrants and third country nationals fleeing the conflict in Sudan in the affected regions in Ethiopia (at Metema and Kumurk points of entry (POEs) in Amhara and Benishangul-Gumuz regions). The project will ensure that vulnerable arrivals are not left stranded in remote border areas and are able to receive immediate life-saving assistance and return home or relocate to designated camps. IOM’s multi-sector emergency assistance will benefit 32,000 individuals, including 14,080 men, 10,560 women, 3,840 boys and 3,520 girls, and including 3,200 persons with disabilities. IOM will provide transportation assistance to safety, protection assistance at POEs, emergency water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH), multi-purpose cash, and health assistance.
