Description
Internet freedoms in Jordan are, more than ever, at risk. In recent years, internet users are additionally facing restrictions online, undermining their freedom of expression, their right of peaceful assembly in online spaces and their right to digital privacy. In this proposed project the Jordan Open Source Association (JOSA) will be working towards addressing the gaps and tackling digital rights issues in Jordan targeting internet users, digital rights defenders and CSOs. This project follows-up the first phase of the project that was implemented in 2019-2022. The activities of this proposed project focus on : 1) Promote ; increment the overall support and engagement for Digital Rights in Jordan. 2) Partner ; expansion of JOSA’s partnerships. 3) Protect ; taking action towards safer digital space. 4) Sustain ; enhance internal and external digital capacities.
