Présentation
The project aims to enhance the value of women’s agricultural cooperatives belonging to the regions of the Canary Islands and (Saint Louis de) Senegal, in addition to promoting the marketing of their agricultural products in new markets.
To achieve it, AGRO_FEM proposes to work through three main lines
* Empowerment of women in agricultural companies in the Canary Islands and Senegal, based on a Training Program adapted to the situation of each region, under which they intend to mainly develop their skills and professional competencies.
* Exchanges of technical and educational experiences that promote the detection of new techniques and good practices that can be extrapolated to both regions ; as well as commercial exchanges to publicize the agricultural products of each region.
* Creation of a Network of cooperatives and agricultural companies of the Canary Islands and Senegal for future continuity that allows a permanent exchange of experiences between both region
