Bakker plans to show Algerian farmers the financial and technical feasibility of using Bakker Brothers hybrid seeds in open field vegetable farming. This demonstration project intends to create a push-pull effect. The project will introduce hybrid seeds for open field farming to the farmers, and enabling them to learn about the advantages. This will increase the demand for hybrid seeds among the farmers, as well as among the distributors.
