The original aim of the project was to create a system of allocation and monitoring of water resources in the Palestinian territories. In early 2013, however, there were found relatively serious shortcomings in the implementation and management of the project by the PWA. Therefore, the project was not effectively implemented by the Palestinian side throughout the year. In 2014 the project will be probably cancelled.
