Présentation
Structural changes of the Ethiopian agriculture are inevitable for food security and rural development. Improved rural infrastructure, increased productivity by enhanced cultivation conditions and water erosion control are required to be fit for the future. A sustainable land development requires proper physical, legal, economic and ecological data about land, e.g. land tenure, land value, land cover, land use.

EduLAND2 aims to achieve resilience in land management by the following activities :
* Establishment of a Land Administration Competence Center at Debre Markos University which provides teaching, research, and policy guidance activities in land management.
* Design of a BSc curriculum and preparation of demand driven community services to alleviate the shortage of land administration professionals in Ethiopia and to increase problem solving capacities in the fields of geodata assessment and rural development.
* Implementation of joint research activities to identify demands for improving agricultural structures in Ethiopia and to launch long-term cooperation between all partner institutions and professional networks on national and international level.
* Identification of current discriminations and promotion of females, young people and persons of other marginalised groups in land management activities to enhance their role in the Ethiopian society.
