  Presentation

CIMAC addresses possibilities for genotypic adaptation via selection or breeding, modeling that allows extrapolative evaluation of climate change scenarios in view of genotypic adaptation mechanisms and the idea to propose crop ideotypes to develop a basis for tactical and strategic decision making to adapt African agriculture to climate change. The conference will offer a platform for the exchange of ideas, concepts and experiences in crop improvement, ideotyping, and modeling.
