Résumé
The aim of this thesis was to examine spatial and temporal patterns in aquatic plant communities and their relationship to natural disturbance processes of flooding, drying, salinity and turbidity. Four wetland types were compared (saline permanent, saline temporary, freshwater permanent, and freshwater temporary) and the composition of dormant and non-dormant seed banks investigated.
