Résumé
The specific aims of the study were to : 1) Determine the extant distribution of four semi-arid tree species in relation to a topographic and predicted resource gradient ; 2) Determine whether these species are regenerating and what may have triggered regeneration in the past ; 3) Investigate factors limiting seedling establishment for each species ; and 4) Investigate which plant traits contribute to species distribution and regeneration patterns across a fine-scale gradient, as a means of understanding species co-existence at a broader scale
