Objectives

The overarching objective of the TWAM2013 International Conference is to address these challenges in “Transboundary water resources management across borders and interfaces”, with particular focus on 1. Water resources modelling 2. Technological and natural solutions 3. Environmental impacts, ecosystems services and values 4. Economic incentives and instruments 5. Water governance, institutions and regulations 6. Stakeholder engagement 7. Planning water resources and land use 8. Integrated assessment and decision support tools

Student PhD-meeting

The TWAM2013 International Conference provides an excellent opportunity for PhD-students and recently graduated PhDs to meet and exchange ideas during the conference.

The objective of the Student PhD-meeting is to give participants an open space to present and discuss their scientific challenges and achievements, to establish new relations and to receive constructive feedback from specialists on their work in progress. We challenge Student PhD-meeting participants to present scientific work as short talks (10 min.).
