Arid region of northwest China fragile ecological environment, and the development of land and water resources may exacerbate the situation. Analysis of soil and water resources and the development of the arid region of the main problems in the use of the model through the development, strengthen understanding and analysis, it is very necessary to make appropriate recommendations and strategies. This paper analyzes the characteristics of China’s northwest arid area of ??land and water resources and its development and utilization of the potential to make an objective interpretation of the existing water resources development, pointed out that the ecological environment of the research and development related to water, soil resource evaluation and prediction model for the arid zone negative effects research to provide effective technical support. The model involved in land and water resources development, soil water, groundwater and soil salinization in three aspects. Saline soil improvement in the irrigation area, on the basis of hydrodynamic parameters study of soil water balance and vertical one-dimensional transport model, and laid a solid foundation for the establishment of a system of soil water and groundwater coupled groundwater model ; established based on sensitive quantitative theory of GIS and remote sensing technology coupled soil water model of groundwater dynamic model ; established on the characteristics of soil salinization, the basis of the analysis of the mechanism of formation and the drivers of soil salinization in arid area based on GIS platform assessment model based on genetic neural network (GABPANN) binary soil salinization sensitivity analysis model for regional soil salinization assessment and salinization factor sensitivity analysis ; explore research and established based on remote sensing information model arid zone soil salinization quantitative prediction model. Select the middle and lower reaches of Shule River as typical of the study area, immigration and land and water resource development, combined with case study and demonstration basin the three irrigation area of ??each of these models. The model results show that the Shule River Basin the wash Yanpai alkali on the basis of soil and water resources development and utilization of a certain degree of adverse impact on the ecological environment of the area, but the negative effect is partial and temporary, the area throughout the oasis ecological environment presents constantly improved and healthy development trend. Generally speaking, this build soil water migration, the dynamic model of groundwater and soil salinization assessment, prediction model can be used to solve the key issues in the development of land and water resources of the arid region, and be able to promote the use of a certain degree.
