Surface temperature (LST, land surface temperature) is the surface energy balance, an important factor in the regional and global scale surface physical processes. Surface energy exchange, the water in the Earth system, the heat, the dominant factor of the carbon cycle, and the surface energy exchange of core information, the surface temperature inversion to promote drought forecasting and crop water stress, crop yield estimates, numerical weather forecast, global change and the global carbon balance and other fields of study. Xinjiang, a vast area, topography, geomorphology complex and changeable manual monitoring of temperature, can not be the whole region of Xinjiang, and even in some areas with harsh conditions difficult to set up the weather station. Remote sensing data to monitor ground temperature change is a simple and effective method ; Xinjiang belongs to the arid and semi-arid regions, the ecological environment is very fragile oasis of dynamic changes in the climate and natural environment of Xinjiang impact, but also be able to surface temperature changes reflect. Ground temperature data to monitor and how to protect the ecological environment to provide scientific data. Based on the theory of biology, geography, 3S technology to support arid zone surface temperature inversion and the spatial and temporal characteristics are analyzed. To MODISL1B image data based on split window algorithm model discussion and analysis, the entire territory of Xinjiang 2001 4,7,10 with 4,7,10 months of 2005, surface temperature inversion data. On this basis, the comparative analysis of the of Xinjiang surface temperature in different seasons of the space distribution pattern characteristic changes in the pattern and distribution of annual surface temperature space. By discussing the relationship between surface temperature and land use types, further quantitative research, the main factors (elevation, vegetation cover) affect the spatial distribution pattern of the surface temperature and the surface temperature of the quantitative relationship.
