Résumé
Agriculture and husbandry interlace zone of north of shaanxi province is one of furthest graveness of land degradation and worst zone of environment. Soil water-erosion and wind-erosion is coexistent. Along with great exploitation in west and construction of energy chemical industry base, land desertification is one of important restrict factor to economy persistence increase and durative development of national economy in this zone. Land desertification as the research object, based on the basis of theories of land resource and soil genetic science, through indoor analyzing and field surveying data , we studied the properties of soil physical and chemical characteristics, soil capacity division, desertification essence, desertification developing process and type. Achieving primary achievements and important evolves are as follows:1. Comprehensively researched soil characteristic of main distribute soil.Research area soil general characteristic is : soil texture thick, sand grain is main part of the mechanical composition, the silt and the clay is low, rarely appears claying horizon, OM and nutrient very low in the whole area, soil pH is higher, calcium carbonate content high, the individual soil type has the calcium carbonate illuvial layer, the cation exchange performance lowly, the mineral element by SiO2 primarily, next is Al2O3, the CaO variable big, other mineral elements are low.Soft loess development weak, the horizon division is not obvious, 0.05 0.25 mm sand grains is the primarily part in mechanical composition, silt and clay content low, OM and nutrient content very low, surface layer OM and nutrient content slightly higher, but under layer low and also there no obvious difference, calcium carbonate content high, the mineral substance element by SiO2 and Al2O3 primarily, CaO and Fe2O3 is next. In spatial division performance mainly displays in the surface layer soil texture, by approaches Yuyang soil texture to be thickest, to east and west direction gradually thinning.The sandy soil forms from the geologic history time. Soil developing weak, 1 0.05mm thick sand occupying mechanical composition main part, silt and clay content are very low, OM and nutrient content extremely low. Mineral element take SiO2 primarily, average content as 716.87 g·kg-1, next is Al2O3, average content is 108.21 g·kg-1. Sandy soil soil-forming
