The natural characteristics of the semi-arid areas in the Loess Plateau, in order to improve the utilization of precipitation and crop yields, from the collection of the field maximum rainwater and control rain in situ infiltration these two angles, the different coating methods and catchment way phase combined in Yuzhong Kitayama harvesting two different experiments. Experiment in 2006 to set up three different treatments : (1) conventional flat film for (CK) ; (2) membrane ridging coverage (RM) : (3) new type of coating - double ridge film coverage furrow sowing (DRM). In addition to the 2006, the same process (1), (2), (3) in 2007, an increase of processing : (4) of film tile covering (NM) and (5) the whole film tile covered (WM) . Experiment II from 2005 to 2008, set up five different treatments : (1) conventional flat film for (CK) ; (2) the plains ridging, ridge Lamination (M0C0) ; (3) the plains from ridge, the ridge is not film, set in between the ridge and the ridge geosyncline (M0C) ; (4) plains ridging, ridge coating (MC0) ; (5) on the plains ridging, ridge coating in the Lung set ground slot (MC) and the ridge between. By the results of the analysis of soil moisture, soil temperature, crop yield and soil nutrients, to obtain the following results : (1) 2006 and 2007 collected more precipitation, surface soil moisture content DRM than other traditional coating reach up to 10.5% and 22.6%, respectively. DRM soil temperature increased in all treatment make up, the average ground temperature from April 2006 to September than CK high 5.8 ° C, 4.9 ° C than RM. Especially in the critical period of crop emergence in 2007, the maximum temperature can be higher than the control CK6.1 solve local due to lack of accumulated temperature in Daejeon can not grow corn. (2) DRM processing can greatly increase crop yields and water use efficiency. 2006 DRM processing corn yield is 103% and 676% of the RM and CK, water use efficiency (WUE) is six times that of CK, 9.98% higher than the RM. 2007 the DRM processing of production compared with RM, NM, WM and CK were increased by 64.8%, 32.1%, 21.9% and 1043.7%, the WUE is 11 times that of CK, respectively, 67.7% higher than the RM, NM, and WM processing, 26.7 % and 9.2%. DRM deal with the economic gains the WM of 1.19 times, 1.67 times that of the RM’s, NM on 1.3 times, 10.2 times, CK’s, is an effective measures to increase production and improve farmers’ income in the semi-arid region of the Loess Plateau.
