Résumé
Improvement of soil environment is an important indicator of effect of vegetation recovery ;root is an important organ of plant growth,and there is significant function for distribution patterns of root systems to growth.At the same time,soil environment and distribution of root systems is interaction.Populus simonii Carr.is one of common tree species in process of vegetation recovery in Mao Wusu Desert,therefore,this thesis have chose some representative Populus simonii Carr.plantations as researching object,studying growth、soil environment and istribution patterns of root systems of Populus simonii Carr.under conditions of mixed in different ways and slope position.Results of the study are as follows.(1) The growth of the mixed forest of Populus simonii Carr.and Caragana intermedia is greater,and the content of soil organic、N and K are higher pure woodland.The growth and soil nutrient of the mixed forest of Sslix psam mophila and Populus simonii Carr.are worst ;in addition,The growth and soil nutrient of Populus simonii Carr.plantation on the slope foot is better than on the slope peak.The vertical variety trend of content of soil nutrient about 3 types in 0~40cm soil layer are distinctness:The water content of the mixed forest of Populus simonii Carr.and Caragana intermedia is higher than other types,but there is difference on vertical variety trend for3 types,indicated having increased with depth increases and then decreases on slope foot,and always increased on the slope peak.(2) The soil profile of plantation on the slope foot is more uniform,but there is a clear dividing line on the slope peak(40cm).on the solpe foot,the bulk density,soil porosity situation,soil water retaining capacity,soil water storage and supply capacity and soil crust of the mixed forest of Populus simonii Carr.and Caragana intermedia are all better,the second is pure woodland of Populus simonii Carr.,the worst is the mixed forest of Sslix psam mophila and Populus simonii Carr.In 0~40cm soil layer on the solpe peak,the bulk density,soil porosity situation,soil water retaining capacity and soil water storage and supply capacity of the mixed forest of Sslix psam mophila and Populus simonii Carr.are better,the worst is the mixed forest of Populus simonii Carr.and Caragana intermedia,however,the ratio of conservation、coverage and soil crust of the mixed forest of Populus simonii Carr.and Caragana intermedia are more better than the mixed forest of Sslix psam mophila and Populus simonii Carr.(3) The root of Populus simonii Carr.is mostly distributed in the depth of 0~40cm soil. The distribution of root for pure woodland of Populus simonii Carr.has obvious adaptability, the root density of fine and thick root in 0~40cm soil layer on the slope peak are obvious greater than on the slope foot at1.0m and 1.5m distance to bole,but the distribution of fine root on the slope foot has trend to more depth soil.On the solpe foot,the diatributing range of fine root of the mixed forest is extensive ;the difference of thick root is not obvious.The influence of Caragana intermedia on the distribution of root systems of Populus simonii Carr.is comparative small,and Sslix psam mophila has determinate affection,the root density of Populus simonii Carr.and Sslix psam mophila in soil are alternate change.Finally,the effection of root of Populus simonii Carr.on the soil environment on the slope foot is not strong,but there is determinate affection on the solpe peak of pure woodland of Populus simonii Carr..To sum up,the suggestions are that the mixed forest of Populus simonii Carr.and Caragana intermedia should preferential has developed,the second is pure woodland of Populus simonii Carr.the mixed forest of Populus simonii Carr.and Sslix psam mophila is not advocated
