Résumé
In this paper, we want to explore the relationship between biological characteristics and drought-resistence ability of 11 psammophyte through morphology, biology and physiology indicators in the field in the condition of natural drought stress in Ke’erqin Desert. For obtaining the growth adaptability difference of different species, charts, correlation analysis, principal component analysis, subordinate function, and other statistical methods were used in the community number and community survey. At the same time, we use several water physiological indexes to cluster the species into 3 categories to provide some scientific guidance of the species choosen in Ke’erqin Desert. The main results are as follows :1. We use 14 growth adaptability indexes to do principal component analysis and finally they were simplified into 5 principle components, then we get 9 key indicators of growth adaptability in Ke’erqin Desert : germination rate, oversummering rate, leaf photosynthetic characteristics , baren-resistence ability, the number of branches, growth habits, specie height, coverage, winter survival rate ;2. According to 9 indexes conditioned by principle component analysis, we get the order of growthadaptability of different species in Ke’erqin Desert : Elaeagnus pungens, Hedysarum scoparium Fisch, Caragana korshinskii Kom , Ceratoides latens, Artemisia sphaerocephala Krasch, Perennial lespedeza Lespedeza, Morus alba L, Amorpha fruticosa, Radix Saposhnikoviae Divaricatae, Astragalus melilotoides, Lespedeza davurica Schindl.3. When the rescaled distance reach to 15-18, we can cluster all the experiment species into 3 categories.They are the strong drought-tolerant varieties, the medium drought-tolerant varieties and the weak drought-tolerant varieties respectively.4. On the basis of the comprehensive statistical analysis of water physiology analysis and growthadaptability above, we give some suggestion to the choosen of drought-resistence species in Ke’erqin Desert : Elaeagnus pungens and Ceratoides latens exhibit excellent characeristics and they are the better choises of all species experimented in Ke’erqin Desert
