Résumé
This thesis describes a chemical and bioactivity study of the essential oils of five tropical plant species of the family capparidaceae, namely Boscia angustifolia A. Rich var. angustifolia, Boscia mossambicensis Klotzsch, Cadaba farinosa Forsk, Gynandropsis gynandra(L.) Brig., and Thylachium africanum Lour. The essential oils were isolated by hydrodistillation of the aerial parts using amodified clavenger apparatus.
