Présentation
Goal
To address land degradation in a way that achieves long term global environment benefits within context of sustainable development.
Objective
Mitigate the causes and negative impacts of land degradation on the structure and functional integrity of ecosystems through sustainable land management practices as a contribution to improving people’s livelihood and economic well being.
Project Strategy
• Formation of 2 clusters among 10 villages.
• Establishment of one federation through SHGs in each cluster to undertake action for implementation.
• Livelihood and bio-diversity conservation actions to be undertaken through SHGs and SHG members.
• Capacity building of local community workers in range of actions at SHG/Village level.
• Village work place to be finalized through PRA technique.
Project Sustainability
This project will be implemented with active participation of community and SHgs. Village committee will be formed from the beneficiaries. Community will also learn the benefits of problems they are facing
