Objectifs  : To improve food security and nutrition of vulnerable households in Burkina Faso.

Activités
1. Distributed 116 640 g of vegetable seeds including tomato, cabbage, onion, carrot, lettuce and eggplant, 3 000 Moringa plants and 2 000 papaya plants as well as 143 250 kg of fertilizer (NPK and Urea).
2. Provided beneficiaries with phytosanitary products and equipment (pesticides, insecticides and sprayers). Trained 404 beneficiaries on vegetable production techniques and the use of phytosanitary treatment equipment, and 186 beneficiaries on nutrition education.
3. Facilitated two consultation and exchange workshops between Government actors, UN agencies and NGOs to exchange food and nutrition security information. Published 12 monthly analyses of the food situation in the target areas.

Bénéficiaires  : 1 910 food insecure households, or 11 460 direct beneficiaries, as well as food and nutrition security stakeholders
