Objectif  : To reduce the vulnerability of rural communities by addressing their immediate postdrought needs

Activités
* In Kenya :• 8 750 households received 60 tonnes of seeds, 175 tonnes of fertilizers ;• 60 000 households benefited from vaccinations against peste des petits ruminants (PPR) and contagious caprine pleuropneumonia ; and• 3 801 households benefited from the sale and distribution of goats.
* In Ethiopia :• 6.6 million sweet potato vine cuttings were provided to 5 706 households ;• 10 115 families received 792 quintals of crop seeds ; and• 13 961 livestock-owning families benefited from the vaccination of 500 000 small ruminants against PPR.
* In Uganda :• 11 000 households received 99 tonnes of drought-tolerant crop seeds.

FAO and ILRI finalized the drought preparedness and mitigation decision tool and shared it with over 15 stakeholders for their inputs.
