Objectifs
The project outcome will be the establishment of a systematic approach leading to the effective management and prevention of the introduction of the most invasive Solanum elaeagnifolium (Silver leaf nightshade) into Iraq, Jordan, Lebanon and Syria thereby preventing its spread to non-affected areas and minimizing the likelihood of negative impacts on the environment, economy and society. This will be achieved through the strengthening of the quarantine and pest control systems
