In this study, the Northern Slope Artemisia desert grassland as the research object , spatial sequence instead of time-series methods , cluster analysis divided the study area grassland degradation succession sequence different degraded grasslands diverse analysis , and the study area soil seed bank, the main plant nutrients were analyzed ; for quantitative monitoring the grass utilization status of the region , the recovery of degraded grassland has certain practical significance . The results show that : the grass of the study area can be divided into four stages of regressive succession , ie non-degraded , moderately degraded , severe degradation and extreme degradation stage . With the increasing degree of degradation succession , the grass species growth and decline . Never degradation stage to the extreme degradation stage , alpha diversity index first and then decreased trend , a higher degree of diversity in moderately degraded ; adjacent degradation gradient gradually reduced number of species replacement ; grazing disturbance on grassland community species diversity affect compliance with \3 , with the degree of degradation intensifies , the increase in the crude protein content of the zonal vegetation of the study area Seriphidium , lower crude fiber content ; due to the reduction of the good pasture , grassland deterioration with the degradation of the severity of its feeding value . 4 different stages of degradation of soil seed bank content changes : not degraded gt ; extreme degradation gt ; moderate degradation gt ; severe degradation , different degradation gradient contained in the seed bank of species differences in the study area zonal vegetation Seriphidium seed only exist in the non-degraded stage ; each stage of degradation in the number of seed bank along with the deepening of the soil depth ; each stage of degradation of vegetation and seed bank similarity poor
