On the basis of general depiction of Mongolian Pine(Pinus sylvestris L.var.mongolica Litv.)in China,including introduction summarize,biology characteristic,breeding technology and reforest technology,the paper has reported on the aspects ofaffect analysis of main climate factors,soil status and other environment conditions in semi-desert and desert area in Hexi region,the introduction success possibility in Jiuquan administration region,Gansu province has been discussed.The method of measurement trees was investigation and measurement.Total 203 Mongolian pine tree from Jiuquan and Jiayuguan administration region with different growth age and plant place(origin seedling introduction from Zhanggutai,Liaoning province)have been investigated.The main factors measured were average trees height,average tree breast height,annual average trees vegetable length and annual average trees diameter.The software named《forest system engineering application》has been used for analysis of the data,the other analysis methods including fuzzy cluster analysis,principal component analysis, establishment variable regress model and yegetable growth predicted.The content of the soil sample from investigated plot has been tested by the chemical laboratory of desert control research institute of Gansu province,organic matter content,pH index,total N content,total P content and soil particle composition have been down.The climate data have been taken from Jiuquan climate bureau including mean average temperature,extreme-temperature, annual average evaporation,annual precipitation,frost-free period,≥10℃accumulated temperature,etc.Breeding trail have been down in greenhouse named GF-GK-80 tape of the central nursery of Jiuquan research institute,the content of the trail were computer control of required condition in greenhouse ;fertilization and reforest trail have been down in the basement of Jiuquan forest research institute,the content of the trails were reforest technology,etc.The result showed:1)The Mongolian pine introduction in Jiuquan and jiayuguan administration region must be used irrigation system because of the precipitation of trail place was no more than 300mm,Jiuquan administration region can be divided by 4 areas for Mongolian Pine,there were most suitable area,suitable area,sub-suitable area and unsuitable area,Mongolian pine can plant in those areas except unsuitable area as farmland protective forest network ;preventive sandy and windy forest network and rapid growth forest for timber.2)The annual height growth of Mongolian pine in Jiuquan administration region showed rapid growth in seedling period,the growth curve showed "S" type ;the growth time and frequency of height and breast height were different in the same place.The height growth was more sensitive for some factors like climate conditions of water and fertilization.The height growth and breast growth data have been evaluated by amend index curve,Richard curve,Steven curve,etc.and got 15 kind of regress model.The research showed the successful of Mongolian pain in Jiuquan and jiayuguan administration.3)some climate factors including annual average evaporation,annual average sunlight,≥10℃accumulated temperature and extreme-highest temperature were the most important indexes, they can improved the breast growth of Mongolian pain.Other factors including annual average temperature,frost-free period and extreme-lowest temperature were the second important indexes,annual precipitation was the complementary index.Cation production, anion production and gross salt were the most important soil indexes in all of the soil factors, total K content,pH index and original matter content were the second important soil indexes, total N content was the complementary index.The vegetable growth model on height and breast height of the Mongolian pine by formula showed : growth on height and breast height can be predicted by the change of climate conditions.It will provide for Mongolian pine management.4)Though 3 years breeding trail,92%of seedling got□and□level according to the provincial standard linked D62/T548-1998 of Mongolian pine.Each mu can be plant 14800 seedling which took out from 3 years-old nursery,99%of them can got□level and can be used for reforest.Success on breeding used seed in Hexi semi-desert region will reduce seedling price in local area, improvement survive ratio of transfer seedling and seedling growth state.It will be a significance function on western region environment distraction.5)The project also referred on culture technology in the field and breeding technology in pat of greenhouse,the standard of Mongolian pine breeding,the standard of Mongolian pine breeding in protected field,and the best age of Mongolian Pine seedling transfer to field was 3 years-old,the 5 technology methods on improvement transfer
