Contexte
Lutheran World Relief is reaching more than 100,000 crisis-affected people in Burkina Faso, Mali and Niger by :
* Diversifying, increasing and protecting crop and animal production for the poorest households.
* Increasing households’ sales margins and incomes from agriculture.
* Building the capacity of partner community-based organizations (CBO) and their leadership.

Description : FROM RECOVERY TO RESILIENCE
* Resilience Plus is enhancing communities’ resilience by strengthening local organizational structures, increasing crop diversification, improving access to credit and inputs, and establishing networks with external stakeholders.
* Resilience Plus is promoting environmental sustainability through soil and water conservation activities and organizational sustainability by strengthening the capacity of existing CBOs. Project beneficiaries’ increased access to credit and participation in the agricultural value chain will also promote economic sustainability.
* LWR’s monitoring and evaluation framework allows for continuous learning and adaptation to ensure projects continue to achieve strong results while responding to changing needs within target communities.
* Resilience Plus is facilitating two regional learning events focused on food security, agro pastoral livelihoods and community-led resilience.
