Résumé
Four species of excellent Festuca L. herbage which planted for many years in arctic-alpine area has been chosen,the drought resistance of seed germinating and drought–cold resistance in seedling stage have been tested,the main conclusion was gained as follows:The results indicated that the lower PEG (5%) concentration promoted the radicle growth, the higher PEG concentration (10%~15%) inhibited significantly the growth of radicles, plumules,seed germination rate,germination energy, germination index and vigor index.PEG concentration treatments had a larger inhibiting effect on plumule growth than that on radicle.The ratio of radicle length and plumule length, germination rate and germination energy could be regarded as preliminary evaluation indices of drought-resistance in seed germination.The drought-resistance order of four species was F. sinensis >F. krylovina Reverd > F. kirilovii and F. arundincea.The anti-drought testing in seedling stage adopted way of successive and repeated drought,the indexes of physiology,outer shape of leaves,content of soil-water,the ratio of herbage survival were measured.The results indicated:relative water content of leaves,content of chlorophyll a,praline,total chlorophyll,malondialdehyde, cell membrane permeability were used as reliable appraising index of Festuca L. in seedling stage,especailly the content of praline,relative water,chlorophyll a.the order of drought of four Festuca L. in seeding stage was : F. sinensis Keng > F. krylovina Reverd> F. kirilovii Steud > F. arundinacea Fawn.Cell membrane permeability, proline,malondialdehyde of 4 kinds of Festuca L. leaves have been measurated by the low temperature and the extreme low temperature in two different temperature grades and different time treatment,cell membrane permeability was most sensitive to the low temperature,malondialdehyde was second,proline was not sensitive to the low temperature.Therefore,cell membrane permeability,malondialdehyde can be preferred to choose as identification indices.By the evaluation,cold resistance of 4 kinds Festuca L. were:F. sinensis Keng was the strongest,F. kirilovii Steudand F. krylovina Reverd were second place, F. arundinacea Fawnwas the weakest.Through studying on drought resistance in germination stage and seedling stage and cold resistance in seedling stage of four species of Festuca L. It was preliminarily conclude that drought-cold ability of of four species of Festuca L. were : F. sinensis Keng was the strongest,F. kirilovii Steud and F. krylovina Reverd were second place, F. arundinacea Fawn was the weakest
