Résumé du projet
The project involves the two communities of Laft and Sarig-e-Dulab Villages in Qeshm Island to promote the local knowledge on land and water resource management which is unfortunately being forgotten in the passage of time and modernization.
The project activities include :
1-Participatory inventories and community use of marine and coastal bio-diversity
2-Documenting local knowledge on the traditions of using the natural land and water resources in form of folklore as easy reading material/books for youth and the elderly of the island
3-Revitalizing the usage of local libraries as local networks
4-The project will also produce a booklet on the lessons learned of the project and a film on the process of the project
