Résumé du projet
As Jordan suffers from acute shortage of energy and water sources & because it does not have the wealth of oil economically & does not have other energy sources sufficient to meet the growing needs of both population and development requirements, therefore this project aims to promote the use of solar heater in heating purposes instead of other non-renewable sources of energy thus to increase the livelihood of local community through reduction of money paid for energy bills and protect the nearby forests from logging.
CBO is located Um Qais village in Irbid city nearby Yarmouk Natural Reserve and will implement the project with the technical assistance of the reserve on three level :
* install 29 solar heaters
* provide 20 homes with energy saving pulps
* raise awareness among local community families

Grant Amount : US$ 25,000.00
Co-Financing Cash : US$ 3,579.00
Co-Financing in-Kind : US$ 1,475.00
