Résumé du projet
The project aims at reversing environmental degradation through improved holistic management of natural resources of dry land areas in order to empower communities with tools and knowledge to strengthen current livelihoods. The primary objective of this project is strengthen agro-pastoral livelihood resilience and food security in semi-arid lands through improved agro-forestry management and sustainable ecosystem transformation. The specific objectives are : firstly, to reverse environmental degradation through improved holistic management of natural resources of dryland areas. Secondly, to empower communities with the knowledge and tools to strengthen current livelihoods and incorporate new livelihood practices in a sustainable livelihoods framework.
