Résumé du projet
The main objective of the project is Strengthening the internal and external capacities of Civil Society organizations within Dibeen Protected Area, building their capacities to participate in an informed and skilled manner in environmental policy formulation and natural resource management, engage with governments, collaborate in decision-making on key issues related to Dibeen Reserve, and represent the interests of this community in environment and sustainable development discussions and debates. All of this will lead to environmental governance within this community.
Community participation during project implementation through the initiation an alliance of the most active environmental civil society organizations after conducting a detailed needs assessment for environmental NGOs within Dibeen Community to assess their knowledge and conduct roundtable with the selected NGOs and discuss with them the project objectives, planned activities, issues threatening Dibeen reserve , how to contribute to solve them, and how to strengthen them to be part of environmental governance.
