Résumé du projet
“Up scaling of the project of reclamation of ravines through endogenous technology and in-situ conservation of local biodiversity and strengthen the livelihood security in two panchayats of Morena District”. The project addresses the issue of land degradation and desertification. It attempts to check and reverse the process at local level. Further, the project applies endogenous measures both engineering and vegetative for checking ravines and prevents land desertification. The process is local specific and community owned and thus cost effective and sustainable. The proposed project would apply the learning from the previous SGP project on Land Desertification. The experience from the previous SGP project would help in strategizing the approaches at effective and locally suited solutions for preventing Land Dssertification.
