Résumé _Water is the fundamental element for oasis maintenance and development. The limitation of water resources makes the ecologic environment of oasis vulnerable and moreover threatens the human society, so it is necessary to study the water consumption regulations in oasis for the scientific allocation of water resources. Aksu Plain Oasis locates in the south of XinJiang, China, with the main characteristics of aridity, little rain, intense evaporation and rich light and heat resources. Aksu River is also the main headstream of Tarim River, consequently the study on Aksu Plain Oasis can provide quantitative criterions for water resources allocation and management of Tarim River Basin, and it will be helpful for any other oasis in arid areas. Evapotranspiration is the most active factor in the processes of water-heat transfer, and also the final consumption of water resources in oasis, accordingly, quantitative analysis on the temporal and spatial distributions of evapotranspiration is a fundamental research
