Project description
The purpose of the MAVEN Farmer-to-Farmer program is to increase agricultural sector productivity in Mali by developing and increasing access to markets, building capacity, adding value to agricultural goods, increasing access to finance and quality inputs, improving storage and marketing, and promoting the transfer and the adoption of new technologies. Volunteer farmers and other experts, usually from the U.S., provide short-term expertise to address identified bottlenecks to increasing productivity, commercialization, trade, or quality of products.
