Objectif : To ensure that affected populations receive appropriate and sufficient food security solutions in times of emergency.

Activités
* Organized monthly meetings among FSAC partners to share information on the implementation of their respective programmes across the country.
* Facilitated the production and/or circulation of various food security assessments and analysis reports to provide baseline data for the 2014 Yemen Humanitarian Response Plan (YHRP).
* Engaged Cluster partners in the development of the 2014 Food Security Strategic Response Plan, which was fully integrated into the 2014 YHRP.
* Implemented a new information management system to eliminate gaps and overlaps in Cluster partners’ service delivery.
* Attended meetings of various clusters (Early Recovery, Health, Nutrition, etc.) to enhance intersectoral coordination.
* Facilitated the implementation of emergency food distribution activities for internally displaced and conflict-affected populations, as well as safety net and cash and voucher programmes (conditional and unconditional cash assistance benefited 130 000 people in 2013 ; 55 000 people assisted and improved their food consumption scores in the first six months of 2014)
