Objective : To practice and develop adaptive community management of a riparian area in the section of Kharaa river near Baruunkharaa village by demonstrating their ability to conduct combined nature protective and livelihood enhancing activities that will ultimately contribute to the rehabilitation of land and pasture on the river bank and increase resilience and income generation of communities.
Implementation activities : 1. Bee keeping. 2. Raising seedlings with tree seeds and branches. 3. Planting willow trees to rehabilitate the river banks. 4. Developing model comminity gardens with fruit and ornament trees. 5. Adaptive management of pastures in Kharaa riparian area. 6. Collectively developing a CCA. 7. Constructing a soil bag house for tourism purposes
