Présentation
The project aims to promote plantation of various multipurpose plant species of animal fodder for addressing the environmental and socio-economic threats disclosed in the project document, and to ultimately contribute to enhancing the SEPL resilience in Lelisa Bula kebele of GG 1 catchment through contributing to the livelihood improvement of 200 (170 men and 30 women) CBO members by at least 25% through promotion of integrated conservation and development strategies like plantation of multipurpose plants and animal fattening ; minimizing communities’ dependence on the environment for their livelihood at least by 25%, and thereby contribute to improving biodiversity conservation and restoration of degraded lands that lead to sustaining the lifespan of GG 1 dam ; and contributing to institutional capacity building and networking of the CBO with other partners for the promotion of integrated landscape management and ensuring SEPL resilience.
