Présentation
The project will focus on capacity building and information dissemination on promoting environmentally sustainable transport modalities and forms, targeting specialists at the Ministry of Transport and police and municipalities in Ramallah. The project will also contribute to raising public awareness particularly in the central and crowded areas of Ramallah city aiming at removing knowledge and information barriers to adopt appropriate and environment friendly transport modalities which ultimately will reduce GHG emissions from ground transport sources.

Environmental benefit : The project contributed to reduce GHG emissions from ground transport modalities and removed knowledge and information barriers to adopt appropriate and environment friendly transport modalities.
Capacity development : Improved the capacity for 45 employees form the Ministry of Transport, police, and municipality on the impact of transport on the environment and public health. It also advocates for the impact of regular motor maintenance on generating less polluting forms of Transport. Messages of public awareness are the result of collective thinking and brain storming over the workshops and meetings.
Public awareness : In cooperation with the Municipality of AlBireh, two large banners (2m x 3m) were installed in the main street of Ramallah advocating for sustainable transport modalities.
