Présentation
The project will contribute to prevent the degraded land of 1 KM2 at the main road between Gaza and AlNusirat town at the middle area of Gaza through multiple intervention of site rehabilitation, planting carpobrotus edulis. And to raise public awareness on conserving biodiversity through producing 750 copy of the brochure and 1000 copy of a leaflet, producing two boards highlighting positive environmental values and conducting 3 workshops.

Environmental Benefit : The project contributes to eliminate soil erosion at the coastal slops of the Al Nussirate town on a space of 144 m³. Therefore, the project focused on planting the slops with 3000 seedlings of “Carpobrotus edulis :” along the coastal slop of 12480m to contribute to restoring the soil cohesion.
Job creation : The project opened up work opportunity for 25 unemployed workers from the project neighborhood
Public awareness : Through holding three workshops, the project enhanced the understanding of summer camps children aged from 12-16, youth and local NGOs of the role of the society in conserving the biodiversity and protecting the coastal area since this is the only internal tourist outlets for Gaza.
Partnership : To ensure project sustainability, the project grantee has involved the municipality in the project design and monitoring
