Présentation
The main goal of the project is to promote and introduce alternative, energy-efficiency technology and heat-saving techniques in 120 rural households of Kumsangir district. Also the project is focused on poverty reduction and employment creation, rehabilitate local economy and enhance local capacity in order to meet their challenges themselves.

Project Activities accomplished/Achieved Results : 1) 12 local volunteers (TOTs) and 120 target households in 5 Jamoats for implementation of project activities identified and selected ; 2) At least 12 people, (6 women and 6 men), received TOT on establishment of EE cookstoves and ES techniques, and transferred their knowledge to another 10 rural households, thereby introduced technology within 120 households ; 3) EE and ES (kilns/tanuri/cookers) introduced/promoted in 132 rural households of 5 jamoats in Kumsangir district. Above 132 rural households improved and increased their knowledge about energy-efficiency and energy-saving practices ; 4) Development and publication of 200 project leaflets containing information of best practices on EE technologies and ES practices completed and will be distributed among 132 HHs by May 2012. 5) Procurement and delivery of construction/ insulation materials : lime, reed, hay, hay/flax, bricks, energy-efficiency cooker devices, uniforms, rubber gloves, boots for 12 TOTs completed and will be distributed before end of April 2012 ;
