Présentation
The project aims to improve waste utilization of 10 communities of Namangan province. The baseline scenario is that all garbage is burnt on the streets, households wastes are dumped on the streets causing GHGs emissions from the uncontrolled dumps. Most of the times, children are those whom parents ask to dispose the garbage and they out of certain reasons dump garbage on the streets. The project plans to work with 10 communities to demonstrate techniques of composting and other resource saving practices. The project will work with different target audience both with adults and children, with a specific focus on children. For children, the project will create a script on the thematic and puppet-show performance that will be showed to children. All puppets along with the rehearsed and tested performance will be given to the Province art school for further and constant playing across the province. Adults and children will be equipped with the tested and demonstrated techniques of composting and resource saving practices together with respective manuals.
