Descriptif
Agriculture is the primary income source for 85% of the labor population in Kunduz Province. Though, investment and technological capacity are low. The Organization for Sustainable Integrated Development (OSID) and Afghans for Tomorrow will together implement a program to improve agricultural productivity, food security and household income by improving access to basic agriculture infrastructures.

Objectifs
The overall objective of the program is to improve agricultural productivity, food security and incomes of rural households in four districts of Kunduz (Markaz, Ali Abad, Imam Saheb and Khan Abad District) through improvement and access to basic community agriculture infrastructures. OSID will implement the Agricultural interventions and Afghans for Tomorrow (A4T) will implement the livestock participatory extension activities.

Goals
* The agricultural productivity, food security and income levels of rural households has improved
* Nursery sites have been established and are linked to nursery growers associations
* Livestock and crop diseases have decreased
* Government staff is trained on technical aspects
* Farmers have access to certified and improved varieties of seeds
* Women are capacitated in food preservation for both home use and for sale
* Productivity of livestock production and crops has increased
* Crops and livestock farmers have improved their farming knowledge
