After heavy rains, several landslides buried the villages of Abe-Borik and Khoja-Khairab under thick layers of mud on May 2nd, 2014. Over 500 lives were lost during the disaster and many houses were fully destroyed. This project provides essential food, medical, non-food and personal hygiene items to the families who survived, but who lost their house and all their belongings under the mud.

Overall objective is to improve the daily life of 620 affected families by providing food, cooking and personal hygiene items.
The project takes special considerations of the needs of affected women and children, by addressing their personal hygiene needs and keeping them in good health.
By providing fo the immediate daily needs of the population, the project helps to establish household security and allows the families to recover from the immediate shock of the landslide.
