Descriptif
Building communities’ resilience to climate change Widespread poverty, social conflicts and limited access to basic services, such as water and food, have diminished the livelihoods of vulnerable communities. This situation is aggravated by climate uncertainty, compromising the capacity of poor people to meet their very basic needs. We are committed to expand knowledge on disaster risk reduction in order to improve sustainable livelihoods.

Objectifs
The main goal is to improve and expand the knowledge and implementation of Disaster Risk Reduction’s best practices in order to achieve Improved Sustainable Livelihoods of households in Luangwa.

Goals
* Communities with Disaster Risk Reduction plans
* Community committees trained in Disaster Risk Reduction
* Organisations with increased capacities on Disaster Risk Reduction
* People whose vulnerability has been reduced
