Présentation
Resilience Plus is enhancing communities’ resilience by strengthening local organizational structures, increasing crop diversification, improving access to credit and inputs, and establishing networks with external stakeholders.
Resilience Plus is promoting environmental sustainability through soil and water conservation activities, and advancing organizational sustainability by strengthening the capacity of existing CBOs. Project beneficiaries’ increased access to credit and expanded participation in the agricultural value chain will also promote economic sustainability.

Actions
• More than 1,245 men and women have participated in soil and water conservation activities through cash-for-work (CFW), helping over 9,189 people meet their immediate needs, while also contributing to disaster risk reduction efforts. • More than 1,100 women have participated in animal fattening or small animal restocking (habbanayé) activities, facilitating their families’ resilient recovery from crisis. • 76 local, project-trained volunteers have shared their knowledge of improved livestock rearing with 352 people. In total, 660 people will receive technical support on improved animal production from these volunteers. • 353 people have been trained in improved agricultural production and storage techniques by 18 local, projecttrained volunteers to boost harvest productivity. • More than 593 members of LWR’s local community based organization (CBO) partners have benefitted from organizational governance and leadership training that is helping CBOs enhance accountability.
